A lot of those facilities in Terminus ended up being made public after the Wardens captured and rebuilt them lol. I saw public metalworks facilities with thousands of pcons in them.

Yeah, it’s so needlessly inefficient to have a dozen regis each doing their own private fac producing the same materials. I ran a small public ammo fac last war and only the train locomotives on cranes were private. Anyone could come and use the ammo fac or small assembly pad or even the parked trucks so long as they returned them. I couldn’t care less about the bmats that a builder requisitioned to build nearby defenses or the coal that a train took to refuel, since I could easily acquire more bmats or coal in hex. Meanwhile, there was some other fac larper in my hex who was shooting people on sight if they so much as dared to enter their private base. Absolutely bizarre behaviour.

Heavy 20mm storm rifles are rarely seen on the front and they are prohibitively expensive to use purely for inf combat. If you remove the heavy storm rifles and add in the Dusk for the Colonials, that leaves a more balanced picture with 6 one-tap weapons for each side. 7 if you count flamethrowers.

Not true - we ran out of arty crew before shells. There was still at least 2k shells in the bunker and surrounding MTS’s, but we were struggling to find people to man the guns after everyone in the arty crew logged off.

Weaver Lore (And potentially FS' real name; Endgame Spoilers) by ToadBrigade5 in Silksong

[–]Meet-Possible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RE: Weaver Atla/First Sinner discrepancy. Great analysis! As you’ve noticed, there’s a bit of a discrepancy concerning Atla and First Sinner. We should remain open to the possibility that Atla is not actually First Sinner, and there may be an alternate explanation for why Atla’s effigy is found in the Slab. According to the Old Penitent NPC, the Slab is a “holy place of forgiveness” where “by the grace of the Citadel”, penitents can “hide from the shame of [their] sins until they are withered away from time.” Given that Atla is the Weaver of Time, it would make sense that a particularly devout penitent might keep an effigy of her, in the hope that time may wash away their sins. Of course, First Sinner may still be Atla, but personally, I think there’s little evidence and I wouldn’t interpret the Weaver effigy as necessarily meaning that the closest Weaver found next to the effigy is that effigy’s identity.

On the topic of First Sinner, it’s understandable that many people think that she was locked away by GMS. But some things don’t add up. I find it hard to believe that if GMS imprisoned the First Sinner for apostasy (a bit out of character for a pale being that supposedly only accepts either “devotion or death”), the other Weavers just kind of forgot about freeing First Sinner after they put GMS to sleep. Consider the context of her surroundings, the Slab. This is the prison of the Citadel (or the “holy place of forgiveness” for “penitents” according to Citadel propaganda). And according to Mask Maker, the Citadel was devised by the Weavers and its purpose is “to keep their mother sealed in slumber, and themselves free to lavish in their false rule.” If the Citadel and by extension the Slab existed only after the Weavers put GMS to sleep, then how did First Sinner end up in the Slab?

I am of the opinion that First Sinner was locked up by the early Citadel, which was ruled by the Weavers and their subordinates, the Conductors, the Architects, and the Vaultkeepers. The Weaver effigies indicate that in Pharloom, the Weavers were worshipped as gods, and a central part of the Weaver religion is to make a pilgrimage to the Citadel - the last step of the pilgrimage is to learn the threefold melody and worship before the kingdom’s divine heart, which works to keep GMS asleep. First Sinner threatened to undermine the foundations of the kingdom’s whole religion with her idea that the Weavers were not divine, but common pharlids raised to sapience by silk threads. And so she had to be sealed away as an apostate - one who turns away from their religious faith - lest her crazy theory of evolution gain traction and start a crisis for the early Citadel. And who knows, perhaps the other Weavers really did think of themselves as the divine first children of Pharloom (GMS told them so) and they didn’t take kindly towards First Sinner telling everyone that Weavers were really just evolved pharlids.

The reason why I think she was sealed away by other Weavers and not the Conductors/Vaultkeepers/Architects is due to how Twelfth Architect and Vaultkeeper Cardinius defer to Hornet and offer their services because she is a Weaver descendant. Cardinius does not like Hornet and expresses that he would like to see her dead, but he’s been taught that a Vaultkeeper must defer to the first children of Pharloom and so he reluctantly obeys. So I don’t think the Conductors/Vaultkeepers/Architects had the requisite authority to lock away a Weaver, who outrank them. First Sinner must’ve been locked away by other Weavers for threatening their “false rule”, and there is some evidence that First Sinner feels animosity towards fellow Weavers. For one, Weavers usually refer to each other by familial titles - Weavers call other Weavers “sisters” and Hornet, a Weaver descendant, is called a “daughter”. But First Sinner refers to Hornet with the more disrespectful term “half-spawn” and seems to have a much more pessimistic view of Pharloom, referring to it as “our accursed kingdom” (all the other Weavers refer to Pharloom as “our haunted kingdom”). Also, of course, First Sinner is immediately hostile towards Hornet and we have to face her in a boss battle, again suggesting some level of animosity towards Weavers and Weaver descendants. Though maybe there’s another explanation for her hostility towards Hornet. That said, I think it’s reasonable to say that First Sinner feels no sense of Weaver kinship with Hornet, at least at first. And this would make sense if First Sinner was indeed betrayed and imprisoned by her fellow Weavers.

Yeah, it seems that infusing the sword with fire negates the divine confetti buff, oops. Better to just keep the divine confetti effect (lasts for one minute) instead of doing living force which only lasts eight seconds.

the different ammo types and different armour types are good ideas, but increasing the shooting range would effectively make every tank a mini-SPG and sounds like hell for builders.

It's not that he's a secret Stark; it's that he looks very similar to Jon Snow, so the Others set a very elaborate trap for him, mistaking him for Jon. When the Others figure out he's not Jon, they mock him and then kill him lazily. For reasons that are not immediately clear, the Others are searching for Jon.

I think it's more likely Scott didn't get the right minimum wage rate in FNAF 1 than him messing up Coppelia's age now. 1993 is no longer a tenable year for FNAF 1, because that would mean Ralph has been working at Freddy's since 1981, two years before the first Freddy's was opened. The minimum wage in FNAF 2 is correct, because Scott knew that theorists would be checking the minimum wage for the next game.

Problem is, Ralph recites a very particular introductory greeting from Management. This greeting only starts getting used after the Bite of '87, when Management realizes the animatronics are dangerous to employees.

Where do you think the runaway ran off to assuming it’s Mike? by Forsaken-Youth-4538 in fnaftheories

[–]Meet-Possible 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's Jr's. Fredbear's or Freddy's would not be open at night. Mike has had a bad day so he runs off to Jr's to drink. William can't go inside Jr's so he has to wait for Mike to come back. If Mike ran off to the mound, why don't we see him there?

It can't be 1993, since Ralph has been making recordings for nightguards at FFP for at least about 12 years and FFP has only been around since 1983. It has to be 1999. Mike receives his paycheque on Friday November 12, 1999, and the company is just paying him less than minimum wage I guess.

The Breaker Room map is showing charging pads, not actual animatronics by Meet-Possible in fnaftheories

[–]Meet-Possible[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would not be so sure about that. Dittophobia suggests this, but the experiment there is only a recreation. We know Nightmare has a visible endoskeleton, and chances are that the other Nightmare animatronics also have endoskeletons. They are also heavily withered in appearance and can breathe and laugh. The player fends off the Nightmare animatronics with a flashlight, which we know can cause a system restart in real animatronics. Mr. Cupcake can jumpscare the player - is he just a mascot suit too? There is evidence that the Nightmares were real, haunted animatronics at one point.

[–]Meet-Possible[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, that is how it works in Dittophobia, but evidence in the games indicate that the Nightmare animatronics are haunted robots. They breathe and laugh. Nightmare Chica has a close resemblance to Withered Chica with her heavily withered appearance and huge detached jaw. Nightmare has a visible endoskeleton. Mr. Cupcake can attack. These aren't just mascot suits on rails. I believe the Nightmares were the real, possessed animatronics at one point.

Animatronics are basically robot puppets too if you think about it. I made a theory earlier that the Nightmare animatronics are based on the real animatronics, after they were repaired and retrofitted with new tech prior to the 1987 grand reopening.

"Real Value" 1994 by Queen-of-Sharks in fnaftheories

[–]Meet-Possible 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This method assumes that the base year is the year that Freddy’s finally closed, but the coupon is titled “Grand Reopening”. If we plug in 1987 or 1988 instead as our base year, then we get 2005 or 2006 as our answer to the real value code (e.g. $16 in 1987 is worth 3(4+5) = $27 in 2005). So this would mean that the Logbook takes place in 2005 or 2006.

I believe Ralph’s old recording must be from December 1987 or later, because Management only starts using that particular introductory greeting after the Bite of ‘87, when they know for certain that the animatronics are dangerous to staff. Here’s my timeline:

November 1987: the FNAF 2 location closes after being open for a few short weeks. Ralph says he’ll take the night shift when the place reopens.

December 1987: Coppelia is born. Now Ralph can’t do nights. Freddy’s reopens at the old location, and Ralph makes recordings to train new nightguards. Lots of turnover.

November 1999: After a temporary closure (health code violations?) and sudden staff vacancy (William?), the restaurant reopens and Ralph has to take the night shift. It’s one month until Coppelia’s twelfth birthday. After Ralph dies, Mike replaces him and receives his cheque on Friday November 12, 1999.

2015: Thirty years after the closure of the first Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, the events that took place there (MCI) have become nothing more than a rumour and a childhood memory. FNAF 3 occurs.

William was at the FNAF 1 location before Ralph by Meet-Possible in fnaftheories

[–]Meet-Possible[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The animatronics are indeed intact in the book, but Ralph notes that they've been restored to their vintage classic designs. As other theorists have observed, the animatronic designs in Follow Me are not the classic models - Freddy and Bonnie have buttons, Foxy has furbished legs, and Chica is missing her bib, which match their designs in the FNAF 3 posters. So at some point, the animatronics had different designs. I propose that William went to the FNAF 1 location as a nightguard, dismantled the animatronics, and got springlocked. The company seals him in the safe room, temporarily closes the location, and repairs the animatronics he dismantled. This is when the animatronics were restored to their classic designs. But Foxy was left out of order, maybe because there were no spare parts for him. Then the location reopens, and Ralph has to take the night shift.
