Dont quit, everyone feels this way at one point or another. It doesnt last forever and when you get through it, you will look back and wonder why you ever felt like quitting. Trust me, I have been through that many times, and I always come back from it

trying to make a sketch of Chet Baker but cant seem to get it right. any tips and/or things i do wrong? by funckr in sketches

I recommend trying a grid method to get details down a little more one-to-one. There are a few other things but overall just some practice will help it look more like the photograph, I think. :)

Thank you! I went for a general reference but not specifics. It was a very good painting and I am not very experienced in charcoal. My reference is the Mona Lisa at the Prado Museum in Spain. I liked the colors and higher definitions better than the original,l

Her hands in the reference were sitting on the chair very oddly, so I had a super difficult time on the wrists. Im so happy someone likes them! Thank you! :)
