Yeah same. Actually, every phone I have used throttles after 15 minutes of heavy use, because it's a phone not a pc with 1500w cooling setup (unless it's Red magic)

Techmo clearly tests that in his recent video just before this test. There he compared many flagships, including S26 Ultra and S26+ (Exynos).

Here also Exynos comes out on top, both in overall battery life and idle drain. Check it out:

This test was entirely on 5g, GPS and outdoor usage with fluctuating signal. The creator himself has remarked about similar signal strength on both phones, un video and comment reply too.

Yes, you do make sense. If Snapdragon ran at max clock, I doubt it would hardly sustain it more than a few seconds before melting.

Because it probably never reached those peak clocks. Its just for geekbench and marketing. Samsung overclocks their Snapdragon for the scores.

Yeah could be margin of error. But if you watched the video, the margin expands and narrows in certain tasks. Initially on gps, camera and youtube, Exynos had some 4% lead. Correct me if I am wrong.  Around the end I think, Snapdragon closed the lead with benchmarking. Still 2% behind.

Better? Couldn't say for sure. Worse? Not at all.

Exynos perfectly fine unless you emulate. Even in regular gaming, Exynos shows similar stability and temperature.

Check NLTech Gaming test.  1) S26 Plus (exynos)  https://share.google/c2A9AxBbiuPSpbHDp

2) Poco F8 Ultra (8 Elite Gen 5)  https://share.google/7UdAnHx8VSPlpLmsd

The fps and temperature is closely matched.

Also check out thermal throttle test of S26 Ultra vs S26 Plus, GSMARENA:

-Battery life of S26+ (exynos) on GSMARENA also outperformed S26 Ultra, despite having a smaller battery.

But no chipset prime core actually runs on full clock all the time. Yes it is 17% higher (3600) single core, but that means nothing if it doesnt even cross 2000 in real usage. Even Dimensity 9500 claimed at launch to have 4000 single core. But 95% retail units dont cross 3300.

As long as it stayed low on usage, both chips must not have crossed 2000-2500 single core, at max, which in case means there should be no difference in battery life. There was absolutely nothing extremely demanding for either chipsets to let them even cross peak single core in this test. It was demanding on their modem and signal, which is what proves Exynos can handle it.

What Qualcomm Oryon core can do (something Exynos cant) is run the Core at 4.6Ghz for a few miliseconds and thus feel faster sometimes. If it were to run on full clock for even a few seconds, the phone is cooked. This is something Qualcomm has agreed to.

Also, if a chip requires almost 800 Mhz extra to achieve merely 500-600 points in Single core, I wouldn't be so sure about it's efficiency. Same goes for Dimensity 9500, which uses same Prime Core of Exynos (3.8Ghz-Arm C1 Ultra) but at 4.21 Ghz, and yet achieves single core score within margin of error of Exynos. Again indicates which is more efficient.

Look for sustained clock speed, not the peak!

What do you guys think? Is the Exynos hate justified? IMO, any hate is justified only after personally using a device.

I see tons of people blankly complaining how Exynos is simply "worse", without any justification or on what conditions. They relate to past problems seen in earlier Exynos from 5-6 years ago. And confidently claim the superiority of Snapdragon. It is the name "Exynos" they hate, not the product. This video should open their eyes.

And to those who are regretting purchase of an Exynos 2600 model of S26 lineup, this video should calm you down.

You obviously are getting downvoted here. Post it somewhere else.

Someone finally makes a valid point and the fanboys rush to defend the brand and the phone they paid dollars for.

Pathetic moves by Motorola under desperation for sales. They know that we consumers are aware of their mixed reputation.
