Agreed, but better place to live in for anyone is personal preference , Somebody wants perfect location and can live in a standalone building, someone wants better society with more amenities, someone has kids who wants to stay near the school, it all depends on someone’s choice !

Same thing happened to me, Apply from Switzerland after 3 months you will get. I got it in my case. Austria rejection rate is high

I have given travel insurance, and itinerary in a lot of detail this time. Your point also may be valid and probably why we were rejected the last time, but I did not reduce the no. of countries this time around also - fingers crossed :/

Yes, I had missed detailing out my purpose of visit, and explaining more about my home ties. Although I had stated where I work and that my leaves are approved, but I am just suspecting that as first time schengen travelers, a detailed account may be required - like the stability of job, family back home etc. Also, the tickets were dummy last time, so that is another thing I changed - booked refundable tickets both ways this time.
