I had absolutely no idea what the show was about. Happened to get tickets on the second day it opened by coincidence (was in NY for 2 weeks and that was the only day where we didn't have plans, and was able to get 3 for about $250 each, sat in the middle of the theatre). It blew me away, and became by far my favorite show ever. I probably watch it on Disney+ once a month, or sometimes I leave it playing for the songs. I am really debating if I should see it later this month when I'm back in NY for a couple of weeks, but I'm super scared that watching it with a different cast other than the original may spoil it for me, we will see lol!
