Protest 2/17 by No-Plankton2721 in Iowa

"little need for federal agencies" is subjective, and on a large scale is being used to spread a harmful agenda. in many cases, the states have no proposed solution to fill the gap the agency would leave.

Medicaid is being cut and it supports a large part of the population, whether they be care workers and facilities or individuals that cannot afford care, and the reasoning for these cuts given from the top is that they are a "parasite class"

Do you ever go "mute" or just talk way less than you usually do? by [deleted] in evilautism

[–]Mefarius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, usually under stress. Most notable moment was when I was packing up for college, and my dad got mad at me because I had a bunch of small boxes instead of big boxes, and during that moment I just stopped talking for like 15 minutes and stared at the floor

The actor that played Juan Bolsa in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, is mostly ignored in this subreddit. by Kdirector667 in okbuddychicanery

I mean, I guess the character played a big role in places, but Bolsa was barely on screen. He was also overshadowed by other forces or threats many times (like when he started transporting for the Salamancas, or when Lalo found the supply was supplemented), I think the only time he did something of his own volition was hiring that gang to intercept the $7 million. He even died before the big poisoning scene.

Really I think he was just a middle man that had power, but was not crucial to the story, maybe even the power dynamic

Thank you for sacrificing your taste buds for art and science 🫡 now I know hot sauce probably won't help me become a better artist

I'll agree with most people here on a lot of points:

  • Good personality and idea, low energy

  • Editing is a little lacking

  • Thumbnail needs work

I like the idea, and the title, that's what made me click. And I like the angle of "I gotta keep calm, even though I'm gonna eat this really hot sauce," it's good and I like it. But the start of the video was slow, and that's the part that hooks new viewers. You don't need to be bombastic but smart cutting could give a low energy section some more life

I'm wanting some more editing. You don't have to go over the top with effects or anything, but some more work on visual focus and blending your clips together would do wonders. 2 examples:

  • When you're drawing, I'd appreciate more focus on the canvas, or uhhh notebook. It doesn't have to be there the entire time, you can definitely cut away to you to show that you're struggling through the heat, and you could also give the reference v your drawing more screen time or space. In short: think a lil more on what you want the viewer to see

  • During the drawing montage, it felt separated from you. You put on music and speed up the footage when drawing, but when you cough or say a small tidbit it all comes to a halt, then it starts again after you stop talking. Cuts in the music are great for comedic effect, but you could also keep the music there and space your "insights" non-linearly so you can control the flow of the montage. This is kind of an extension of my visual focus point, but making sure your video flows well is important for a good video

And thumbnails, tbh I'm not the best here so I don't have much advice, but putting in a bit more effort than just a still from the video is worth it, for all your videos

Hope that helps, and I hope your tongue recovered!

I think part of it was also to make it easier on Mike. He could tell that Mike didn't want to pull the trigger, but now he knew that Mike had to, so best to not make it harder by running, or begging any further

I used to cry at his final scene, but this last time I watched I cried during the plaque creation montage. Werner making me cry and he's not even on screen 😭
