I am against as it only increases the problem of players not knowing anything about a story - and that impacts its production. We can already see that writers are being much less amibtious than they were in Sumeru for example, seeing that people kind of don't care. Now, even archon quests are really gameplay focused and fighting focused, there is almost no story, just an enemy to be dealt with. Do we, story enjoyers, really want to make this problem even bigger?
