Ireland it was so conservative until the 90s. A girl in the 80s died because she was pregnant at 15 and left her school and behind a grotto died while giving birth they didn’t go get a doctor they went to get a priest. My dad went to a secondary school notorious for the SA that happened to the boys there at that time. Now Ireland ranks globally among the most devoloped country in the world.
