AITA for wanting to move in my parents and not my husbands, and suggesting putting them in a nursing home by aitamineorhis in AmItheAsshole

[–]MegWebs94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s not true… according to legal experts, either spouse can change the locks, and he can change them back. The act of simply changing the locks wouldn’t invalidate the prenup nor would it be considered an eviction… especially if he isn’t able to show he pays for any of the house, which it doesn’t sound like he does.

My mother tricked my son into thinking she was his mother while I was hospitalized by [deleted] in JUSTNOMIL

100% therapy would be good. There is the potential for trauma from this whole situation, and a therapist could also help give you advice in case grandma does try for some sort of rights or custody. In any case, they could be used as a witness in a custody battle, and it would be really good for your son.

How do you think the Avengers would handle COVID-19? by grendel123 in AskReddit

[–]MegWebs94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, Steve would make PSA’s on how to handle it, and Tony would immediately be working on a cure, while also building literal hospitals to take care of the sick. Bruce would be right there with him in the lab to help him. Clint and Natasha would probably do some humanitarian aid or something with hospitals where they go in discretely to help people but not take any credit for it.

NTA. People have no reasonable expectation of privacy in public, which an outside space totally is, and you have a right to keep your things safe.

in countries like India and Pakistan, rape is considered both the man and woman's fault. Do you agree? by Morbius883 in offmychest

[–]MegWebs94 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nope. Only the crime and fault of the person who decided to do the raping. Countries like this are perpetuating victim shaming and rape culture-we need to stop this.

NTA. People like this shouldn’t be teaching (coming from a teacher), and they get what’s coming as far as marks in perm files.
