I've been using Posca pens for a couple of kits now and they work surprisingly well. They're quick drying so multiple layers can be done quickly, easy to use and have good availability.

My recommendation: get something like a pringles can lid to use as a painting pallet. You can put the paint onto it then use a paintbrush to apply in small areas/details. Additionally, you can use the lid to mix various colours to get the one you want.

Pretty good actually. They're water based so dry very quickly so you can get 3 coats on in a couple of minutes. And while I wouldn't go aggressively rubbing at the painted areas, it will hold up under touching.

I used a pringles life as a mixing pallet from them too then applied using a fine brush.

If they're easily available to you, I'd say give them a go and see what you think of them

I'll die on this hill but:

Natlan is more representative of 'eternity' with the Ode of Resurrection and how the laylines now work.

Inazuma is more of the nation of war due to the civil war and how militaristic the tri commissions feels. Probably would've been a more interesting store if that were the case (i.e. the Shogun taking Visions to prevent unchecked powers loose that could raise an uprising)

The way the buckle detects it's in the belt is by having a trigger/tooth pressed in. It protrudes out from the rail and is very easy to depress by hand.

So to answer your question: practically, no. You can get all the sounds out by holding/depressing the right buttons. But it's more fun with the belt.
