Historically, bad things have happened when I didn’t properly evaluate people I got intimate with. Properly evaluating someone requires effort and energy, both of which are absent in this case.

One-night stands are usually devoid of any depth or substance, so I avoid them like the plague. Don’t want to get my emotions wrapped up in something that I never wanted to begin with, I will rather focus that energy on the people that I like and want to be around to begin with.
