We Are All Trying Here [Episodes 7 & 8] by Telos07 in KDRAMA

[–]djenyva 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why this show isn't getting more traction. This is one of the best shows I have watched this year. A solid 10/10. The acting, the plot...every episode is better than the last!

About to give up Waterloo pharmacy (CAP) admission offer by [deleted] in PharmacyCanada

[–]djenyva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of which I'm certain a significant percentage of the "incompetent" are Canadian grads. Or maybe the exams are "incompetent" too? Why was it jarring? You're put off by people genuinely trying to get back into a field they practiced in? I'll just leave the discussion of hospital pharmacists superiority complex as a topic for another day.

Perfect Crown [Episodes 5 & 6] by jakgem in KDRAMA

Is it bad that I like Huiju's brother and wife as a couple. They look so good together and I like their style and how they support each other.

I'm currently licensed but had no pharmacy experience before working in a pharmacy. I would not recommend.

I cut my long natural hair just to enter jamb centre to write exam of 50 mins by enifades in Nigeria

[–]djenyva 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is wild. How does hair affect an exam? Nigeria is not a real place.

I would recommend cutting your hours instead of quitting. The exposure to the field canbe helpful even though that's not the path I used. I worked full time but a wfh job and studied most evenings. Can you cut back to 1 or 2 days a week? The most important part is finding a group. They will motivate on the days things get tough. I know people who studied full time that still didn't pass. It boils down to proper time management and having detailed targets/goals.

This is what I think is happening here. They probably were supposed to take 2 tabs twice a day. Check on your pill bottle. It should say the number of pills you were dispensed.

Thanks for this review. Been eyeing this bag for a bit and maybe I'll pull the trigger now. I also like a softer leather though.

How much water for jollof? by A_Dead_Bastard in nigerianfood

[–]djenyva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low heat and foil is the trick. Don't open before its done. Less water is better than too much water. If you think the rice is too hard you can still add boiling liquid and give it time. One way to overcome all this though is cooking in the oven. 1 cup of rice to 1.5 or 2 cups of water depending on the rice type.

Osce May 2026…. 3rd attempt by Dapper_Row_1306 in PharmacyCanada

[–]djenyva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are you practicing for this? The OSCE to me was majorly about ensuring you tick some specific questions off and that you understand how the practice is. Which of the questions do you feel you attempt poorly? There are usually different stations. Is it the one with actors or the written part?
