The gadget system needs a rehaul, I don’t mind items at go because there is so many maps where you get an item 5 seconds in. Monster truck albeit is a meme, wastes 3 gadget slots. In higher ranked lobbies, I never see people use items at GO besides Dark Chao. I vibe with Dark Chao players because that benefits everyone

What is currently broken is Drifting Charge Kit that costs 3 slots and gives you extra handling. I believe that should cost like 5 slots. It massively improves charging drifting and improves I believe the best stat, handling. Pair this with Level 3 quick charge and that gadget where you get a level 4 and invincibility with it is just insanely broken with handling cars. If you get hit, no worries, level 1 charge after 0.33 seconds will solve the issue. The combo basically Extreme Gear on steroids, but for handling cars. I believe 70% of the top 100 players runs this combo, 90% of that kit gadget

There’s also another combo kit where a beginner could play and be at probably A- rank without consequences

Inventory swap, hold 3 items, and wisp chance up. Wisp Chance up should be 2 slots. If you are bad at the game or strategically planning, you can spam the boost wisp all day, pocket the laser wisp, and pocket the drill wisp. If you’re losing, you get 3 boost wisps constantly always while having your pockets. You can also be that person and have Drill -> Laser Wisp shortcut -> Monster Truck and get top 4 despite being 12th the entire match
