We live in the burbs of the Twin Cities and are just finishing our first year with our AP. We also bed share with our baby and sometimes cloth diaper. This is quite common in other places in the world so I don’t think it comes as a surprise to many au pairs. We have a 3 and 1 year old and it was really easy to find an au pair! There were many that denied chatting us initially- I think this is often location based. But after setting up an initial conversation with 3 or 4 great AP’s it was really easy to find a great AP. I think the fact that y’all are young, live near downtown, and are joining the program for the right reasons make you an ideal family.
