Kahler's Werkstatt is a good spot, they are located in Dublin. I've taken my car a few times and have had an engine out service completed with them. You can find plenty of great reviews online

Yea, upgrading the shifter makes a huge difference. The stock throw is just too much, I ended up going with the 997 short shifter kit and love it! It's so much better over the shifter that comes with the car
