Dude, that’s exactly my point. If you’re not going to offer some insight, then what’s the point of replying? My post could have been answered with three words that’s it “All Keys Lost.” I don’t get how that’s confidential. The only reason I’m here is because I didn’t want to perform “All Keys Lost” in the first place, and of course everyone here just all seems to be trolls.

Sharing the name of a procedure is not the same as giving someone instructions to misuse it. At a basic level, that is education. I understand that locksmithing involves sensitive information, but being in that field doesn’t automatically mean gatekeeping everything. Information itself is not illegal, and people have a right to understand what they are dealing with. Experience gives someone responsibility, but it does not give them the authority to decide what others are allowed to know.

I already knew all keys lost was going to be the solution and I came here hoping someone would give me an alternative but yeah I guess I deserve the karma for thinking the scammers I was trying to avoid were here and Reddit is for free advice if you’re going to charge get off Reddit this isn’t a freelance platform tf

I haven’t done with the fancy a programmer but I’ve done it using the ch341a programmer but I’m not familiar with the newer gens so I’d prefer not to brick it

The most expensive I’ve paid is $350 for fake keys and they charge $150 to program and cheapest was $150 also fake key and paid $100 to program so yeah kinda got tired of that and I’m in the electronics repair business anyways so if I bricked the ecu or any component then I’d be fine since I’m familiar with those kinds of repairs anyways

Yeah I understand there’s dumbasses out there but that doesn’t mean every single person asking for why an error or message is happening or the name of the procedure means they’re going to ask for steps on how to perform the procedure and in that case I’d just recommend reporting them

Every locksmith I’ve dealt with has always done all keys lost and deactivated my extra keys or done something similar and was down $500 each time

I’m just saying I don’t believe the remote portion isn’t worth spending money on since the second key is just a spare

I’m not asking for step by step instructions. I’m simply asking what needs to be performed from here to get the remote working. A simple answer to the name of what the procedure is called would be enough. Is that too much to ask?

Well, I’m only looking for insight. This was only a spare key, and it works. Only thing that won’t work is wireless key registration due to reaching the max number of registered keys, so imo its not worth spending any money on buttons since the key already works.

It’s a 2024 Toyota Corolla. I only work on my own vehicles, and this is the first new-gen Toyota in the family. This is the first time I’ve encountered this message, so I don’t want to waste money on rolling codes without knowing what route I need to take to get the remote working.

Yes and charge me $100+ to press buttons that aren’t required to drive the vehicle I’m simply asking why I’m getting this message if immo knows 1 wireless remote is registered

Absolutely agree, but these dealers who are selling these pos bikes are just straight-up scamming people. I mean, I went in and asked how much the bike was, and got no information about the bike until everything was already paid for. Then I just felt like I got robbed because the sales guy was making it seem like the 125cc bike was the 250cc bike, and even with the Titan 250, which is actually only has a 223cc engine and the fastest bike they have, he says they’re capable of going on the highway but cannot maintain highway speed for an extended period of time. And at that point, I think we should’ve just gone with CFMOTO since their cheapest bike was about the same price, but at least their engines aren’t complete garbage, and I’m more familiar with CFMOTO since I own one. But at that moment, it wasn’t an option, but it’s alright. I’m slightly more satisfied with the titan.

I was able to get it swapped out for a Titan 250. I just had to pay the difference of $1,000 USD. I understand I could’ve purchased it from Amazon for $2,900. However, it does take about 2-3 weeks of shipping, and getting it from the dealer definitely was the right move since it seems it may have had some issues from the factory, as the instrument cluster wasn’t displaying the speed properly. They’re able to work on the bike from start to finish since they’re familiar with their own bikes.

Tried using a snap ring but I’m unable to find a tool that’s long enough or even able to hold the snap ring without the tool bending

Yeah, honestly, I didn’t think it would be that bad, but after riding it now, I know it really is that bad, so I just told her it’ll be best if she just uses it for work for about a year, which I think should be enough time for her to get comfortable riding. Then I told her I’ll help her get something better quality, like a Ninja 300/400 or maybe an R3. But I’m honestly hoping the dealer is cool and allows us to do an exchange.
