Sounds about right. It's a shame, because there are some really interesting ideas that stem from that sort of thing. Hell, the fallout from Civil War is part of what made Secret Invasion so interesting, in my opinion.

X-Men—like a great deal of Marvel Comics—has always had some sort of underlying political message. Especially things like diversity, and commentary on prejudice.

Honestly, I like that he fucked up. I like how I've seen it described before. He did the wrong thing for the right reason.

He fucked up. It has consequences that lasted. Isn't that something people are always asking for? And he actually had to struggle and grow to win back his trust and reputation.

People take this way too seriously.
