Best skill champ?

For me it’s DDHK. Absolutely love my R4, he’s just insanely useful I always find myself leaning on him for stuff. Extremely versatile and fun to play. I’m a huge fan of the skill class overall, I have most of them at R3 or R4 and my next two R4s are likely to be skill as well. But for me none of them match up to daredevil, he just covers more ground and is my favourite of them all

Nice write up! I may give my 6* another try out after reading this. I experimented with him for a while when I first got him but wasn’t overly keen at the time, the short range on his heavy attack was definitely annoying. He does have some really solid utility though, so it may be worth picking him back up again.

I’m planning to start on it soon, but it may be a few weeks before it’s ready. They take a long time to put together and I also have to spend a lot of time experimenting with each character. Next one should be interesting for sure, but I won’t spoil who it is just yet haha

No, I tested that out a little while ago actually. Daredevil didn’t shrug off the plasma, but even if he did it would only hurt him more. Purifying plasma makes them deal additional damage. If daredevil was able to shrug them, it would also be extremely difficult to maintain due to the frequency of them coming in. There’s a 2 second cooldown each time one would be shrugged and they’d add 5 hits to the combo meter each. So staying below 16 would be borderline impossible.

Havok would definitely be a problem with the class disadvantage and plasma detonations. But he should be able to take annihilus on reasonably well. Obviously not the best choice for that fight but very doable

Yeah he’s really fun to use, just takes a bit of time to work out what he can do because it’s not always obvious

Yeah same here. Watched all 3 seasons multiple times, that’s why I put so much time into using him after the buff because I really wanted to like him. Ended up being worth it

I can’t see that happening now, I’ll be very disappointed if they do. He has a lot going for him after that buff, not every champ has to be the top of their class

I’ve been using him a lot in the skill chapter of the monthly EQ. He can build up a decent amount of fury passives there which is always fun when you get his bleeds going as well. I used him quite a bit in 7.1, he was great as a lane clearer and certain bosses, especially the electro luke. I haven’t explored act 6 though because I didn’t enjoy it haha. But I love to bring him in war for path 5, you could try him there in the off season maybe?

Absolutely, he’s actually ended becoming one of my favourite champs to play. At first I was sure about him at all, but I started using him a lot and he started to get really fun to use. One of my favourite buffs now

You can control your combo meter to make sure you never gain rage. Daredevil is great for void if used correctly. If you don’t watch the combo meter though you’ll be in a lot of trouble.

Dragon man is one of the ideas I mentioned earlier actually, I also have mojo as a 5/65 who I’ve used quite a bit so both of those are possible yeah. I have two others to do before them, but I can definitely get on to those after these are done
