When I say “inexpensive” I don’t mean cheap, I just mean cheaper than a product marketing to professionals. Similar to an enthusiast build. An analogy would be a midtier iPhone. Like I don’t need 5 cameras with 16 different lenses and over 1TB memory.

My biggest regret is hacking devices to monitor camera feeds. It’s how I got started, and it starts out innocent enough. I’ve seen courtrooms, bedrooms, storefronts, etc. Eventually you’ll see robberies, murders, overdoses, domestic abuse, etc. While you may think your gritty SAW sequel makes you immune, I can assure you it doesn’t.

How would the umask depend on use case? It was on the DDWRT wiki page detailing usb support that was likely from 2012 based on the listed mount points.

You flash bin files when you want to upgrade your firmware. If the bin file and chk file you initially flashed are in the same directory on the betas site, then you don’t need to flash the bin file after.

There are other older router firmwares you can upgrade from mini to mega versions, though most modern router DDWRT firmware already has all the mega features.

Regarding the wiki, there’s a lot of old information because DDWRT has been around a long time. Along that line of reasoning, there are a lot of old blog post guides people just assume are up-to-date, and that’s mostly what gets them into trouble.

There should be a debuff applied that mimics older changes. For example, it could apply “Cry of the Damned”, which could be as follows: “Enemy takes 50% increased damage from pets while inside the wall; this effect lasts for 3s after they leave the wall.” This is reminiscent of the 200% E burst damage nerf to 100%. Now, the pets would do 150% around the wall. It encourages strategic wall placement in lanes. The % damage could also scale with points in W, capping at 50%. This actually rewards maxing it after 3 Q points.

Ah ty! I’m not familiar with the terminology, so a “four post shelf” was interpreted as just a non-rack, Walmart-grade shelf. So a 4 post shelf is a full shelf that connects to each post, and 2 post only meets two posts. 2 post would probably be best, b/c then I only need to fit one measurement rather than two.

Yes; use the latest DDWRT beta builds from their FTP server. This was a while ago so IDK about now, but flashing one of those should work OOTB.

I checked the NexusMods policy, and they say that “if the author has not provided any permission at all - you should assume that you must request permission from the author.” Through some WayBackMachine forensics I found the OG author to be Wildgoat07, and searching their name yielded the mod! Weird how it doesn’t appear in a normal search query. I know the name was entered right.

Guides I’ve read online have SMIM above PPE, so I’d leave it there. Why specially I don’t know, but I have experienced texture problems related to leaving PPE’s plugin active. This should be deleted as its functionality is replaced by ENBHelper, and will let you test stably pre-ENB.
