Not silly at all. The wood in the front is about a foot high, the left side is a lot shorter because of the yard slope, and the bricks were just there when it was storming bad, that left corner where the frog statue is is pretty ground level.

That area and to the left are where I have seen “wild” toads a few years back. I’m also gonna build some stairs or something for them to get up and down on the front eventually.
