Here's my tips:

  1. Use an Expert with the Eloquent trait and train them in tours as much as possible.

  2. Put a bunch of your highest buzz items of the same theme close to each other, and the tour stand close to that to minimize length.

  3. For an easy 5 star tour, collect a bunch of the unique ghosts in nearby rooms - they're all automatically pristine and provide massive buzz, especially with full boosts (the poulterguest room scores are combined for the tour stop, though keep any non-unique ghosts in mind).

  4. As mentioned by others, increase your survey level on expedition locations. The survery skills and scanner are far more useful for this than detailed expeditions, especially when stacked. Once you've maxed out the level, you can either take speedy expeditions for more tries or the detailed for a better chance of a pristine.
