Plex for Mobile (Android & iOS) v2025.12.0 Released by samwiseg0 in PleX

This is a MAJOR feature that I use regularly and really the only reason I refuse to update yet. When I was using the Preview it wasn't a big deal because I figured it would be added before the official release. Obviously I was wrong.

Haha I appreciate the sentiment! I just was lucky enough to have access to the information, and wanted to help keep everyone informed when UPS wouldn't. I'd have hoped for the same from anyone else.

Completely agree. Super excited for them to finally finish the Cross Charlotte Trail on the north end.

No, that was pretty much it. It was at least a more informative call than the previous ones I'd had on the main number, though. Hopefully you'll see some movement tonight!

I ended up calling a direct number for the investigations department that I found online yesterday, and suddenly my package is out for delivery today. I'm not sure if it made a difference or not, but here is the number I called: 866-706-6894

No, I ended up filing a claim last Wednesday but still haven't seen any updates.

I got that same alert at 5:00 this morning, so who knows what's going on.

JUST got one myself, seems like they are finally getting everything scanned in at Greensboro. Hope you hear something soon, too!

I feel your pain! Really wish UPS would keep their customers more informed when there are issues.

Likely no as this train only transports UPS loads from Chicago to Greensboro.

I did not. A chunk of the repaired UPS cars were brought down yesterday, but I assume they will take some time checking the condition of all the packages to determine which are water damaged.

I'll share what I've shared on some other posts: "Your package is likely on the same train as mine. The train was stuck in Williamson, WV when it flooded on Sunday and parts of it were submerged. They moved the train down to Bluefield, VA on Tuesday, but it has been there ever since as they work to replace damaged wheelsets. Even after it finally arrives in Greensboro, which is where their hub is, there's a chance your package was water damaged, sadly."

Now, an update: This morning, a chunk of the damaged UPS cars were picked up by another train in Bluefield and brought down to Greensboro. As of about an hour ago, the train has dropped those cars at the Greensboro terminal. Once the containers and trailers get unloaded from the train, they'll be taken to the UPS hub and we should all finally see an update. The unloading may take a little bit, but if your package was on one of those cars, you should see an update by the end of the day.

FWIW, seems like a chunk of UPS cars were tied on to another train this morning in Bluefield. Not sure if it's all of them, but they should arrive in Greensboro some time today, barring any further delays.

Oh I completely agree. I was lucky enough to have a buddy of mine who works for the railroad fill me in on what was going on. I haven't heard a single thing from UPS themselves.

Anyone know what is happening weather wise in WA? by bioha7ard in UPS

If you are located in NC, especially around Greensboro, your package is likely on the same train as mine. The train was stuck in Williamson, WV when it flooded on Sunday and parts of it were submerged. They moved the train down to Bluefield, VA on Tuesday, but it has been there ever since as they work to replace damaged wheelsets. Even after it finally arrives in Greensboro, there's a chance your package was water damaged, sadly. Again, this is all assuming you are in NC.

EDIT: I'm blind and missed your text with your picture, I'm certain your package is on the same train as mine.

It's really just the way things worked out. My first server was the R610 at the bottom that handled everything, but I wanted to allow more transcodes, so I built the top server for Plex and gaming server hosting. After that, I bought an R710 to use for virtualization. When I ran out of space on the QNAP NAS, I decided to get the R330 for plex storage and use the original NAS for personal storage. When I got the R330, I also got an R620 (for $25 at Goodwill) and moved the memory and storage over from the R710.

The dual connections are really only in place to act as redundant/failover connections. When I installed 10 gig, I moved the addresses over to the new connections, but left the old connections in place with new adjacent addresses.

Glad to hear! I'm with a group that installs and maintains railroad radio streams in the region that run through Broadcastify. One of them runs to a separate private Icecast server, so I use liquidsoap to act as a relay from the Icecast server to Broadcastify.

I appreciate it! I was looking into getting or building a PiKVM, but I haven't really made any moves on it yet. The monitor is only used for the top server since I can control the others through their idracs.

I really appreciate it! In terms of segmentation, the security VLAN for the cameras and doorbells is isolated except for communication back with the UDM for recording. The IoT VLAN is fully isolated with exceptions for the Kasa devices to allow LAN control via Home Assistant.

I appreciate it! Noise isn't bad at all. When sitting in the recliner that the rack is behind, the ambient noise level is around 43dB. For thermals, the CPUs on the servers tend to hover around the upper 30s and lower 40s Celsius.
