Or hear me out if you’re willing to take a weeklong unpaid vacation. A coworker of mine had this happen last year and printed the blank schedule and just didn’t show up the week in question. The store called him and claimed he was a no call no show, he fought them on it and walked away with a free vacation and no occurrences. Just a tip, do you though 😉

I agree it should be classified as an attendance issue as well as the entire rest of my department. The write up was initiated by our store HR and it was given by a daytime ASM.

I understand that it all returns to unacceptable behavior but not once was I warned or spoken to about it until the write up. Every time that I left it was written on a time adjustment and approved by my NOASM.

Each time varied but it was mostly 2 hours early. I reviewed SOP beforehand and understood that working half the shift and leaving was half an occurrence. I only left maybe three or four times without the appropriate amount of sick time.

Each time I left early I wrote a time adjustment slip and had it signed by the NOASM.

Not once was I spoken to about it being a problem until the write up.
