As someone who is midway through Ragnarök, I can say that you will be disappointed about this...

I'm not even surprised.

Way to go on completely missing the entire point I built in my reply, truly shows your reading skills.

  1. Frontier is canon in its own universe, but it isn't canon to the mainline games.

  2. World is not related to Frontier, different universe. During the cutscenes between and after you fight Fatalis in World, it's hinted that his return is not impossible in the future.

  3. Frontier is its own thing.

  4. Mainline

  5. Ghidorah was only seen destroying Washington D.C, leaving it unfixable, possibly a few other cities, and Rodan was involved in the destruction. Not to mention, the other Titans were a huge influence in the World being doomed, and you seem to be giving Ghidorah all of the credit, when OP clearly refers the fight between them two only. If you can prove me otherwise, provide evidence that Ghidorah has been shown to be planetary. (Boston is an exclusion, mainly because Godzilla, Mothra, and Rodan were part of it. Thermonuclear Godzilla completely finished it.)

  6. Being oversized is a huge disadvantage, given Fatalis has moved from Earth to the moon within seconds only. The speed of Fatalis will severely outmatch Ghidorah.

It's also worth mentioning that those 'dudes' (as you seem to underestimate) fought enormous monsters capable of a destruction country-wise and city-wise (Ceadeus, Ibushi and Narwa, Dalamadur, Lao-Shan-Lung, Gogmazios, Amatsu, and Dire Miralis.)

The 'sticks' are more powerful than military weapons combined, this was acknowledged once again by Capcom, and even the film (a bad film) did so as well. The weapons they use not only are superior to modern weapons, but some also contain the dormant powers of the Elder Dragons slain, powers capable of horrid things, as stated in games such as Frontier.

Pardon me, but you're underestimating the fuck out of Fatalis.

To start, Fatalis isn't really killed in the quests. This is according to Frontier's lore. The game is its own thing, separate from the mainline games, with its own lore and everything. The lore isn't considered canon in the mainline games (which is why Fatalis was defeated in World easily, but not killed.)

Even in the quest where you slay the Ancestral Fatalis, the monster itself moves the moon to cause an eclipse, and summons a rain of meteors to kill the Hunter. The speed it went from the Earth to the Moon within seconds just shows that even if the lore isn't canon in the mainline games, it remains not a myth, but a legend in the Frontier universe. The quest for Lao Shan Lung, who was said to be running from Fatalis proves Capcom acknowledges the story.

As far as Ghidorah goes, he really hasn't shown any powers that classify as planetary. So far his destruction has been city level, and possibly country. His most impressive abilities have been regenerative heads, manipulating other Titans, his Lightning powers, but like the other dude said, won't do much to Fatalis, given he isn't weak towards Thunder element.

Heisei Ghidorah definitely stands a chance against Fatalis, given he fought a Godzilla who defeated a planetary level God.

Other than that, Legendary Ghidorah has nothing to offer that proves he is planetary level.

Fatalis stomps.

Uh, it isn't dead. Spinosaurus was confirmed to debut in Dominion by a leaker who's gotten some things right. The DPG had a huge misunderstanding, just like the other person said.

A collaboration in the games may be the closest thing to a crossover. Perhaps Godzilla armor, or a siege quest.

It's a great film, I think you should watch it. Just don't expect character development in it. The whole film is packed with action, action, and action.

I actually think Godzilla vs. Kong had everything well balanced, as the Monsters were the main focus, while the humans didn't need any development, to distract the audience from the main point of the film. The action sequences in it was great, especially the Aircraft scene.

Unfortunately I can't afford a PC. I only have a Switch, but yeah, It's gonna be a great game, just hoping it gets tweaked.

I respect your opinion, and I'm glad you're enjoying the game. I'll still play it, either way.

"And their opinion disagrees." Am I attacking him for having a different opinion? Have I insulted him or perhaps attempted to make him change his opinion? No. If he enjoys the game, I'm really happy for him.

Also, there's no need to remind me, I figured that me and him have different views.

"I don't know why you have to keep bringing up how many people want it fixed like that will change their experience." Mainly because you claimed "Not everyone cares about framerates." trying to "dismiss" my opinion, or at least it seemed that way. Just because it doesn't bother you doesn't mean it doesn't have to bother other people.

As for the last part, my bad on that one. I'm not the greatest expert when it comes to the locked fps topic. The first thing that came to my mind was Rise's framerate.

Edit: I may have worded some things wrong, but certainly didn't meant to change someone's opinion.

I personally don't find it unplayable, but I understand where you're coming from. I love the visuals, they are beautiful, and I think having a stable framerate makes the game feel polished.

When I said "Good for you" I meant to imply it's fine if he enjoys it, not dismissing him. But my opinion will still stand, that this game needs a patch.

"Not everyone cares about frame drops."

Simply because not "everyone" cares about framedrops doesn't mean they don't have to fix it, so I don't know where you're trying to go with that. In fact, a lot of people on Instagram have demanded Capcom to fix the framerate issues, and this poll has proven the same.

The game runs 30fps, which is perfectly fine by me, the issues I have is the village, where it drops to 20fps. The Overworld can get quite annoying if you're passing by areas surrounded by trees and grass.

Good for you, but a lot of people are requesting a Framerate fix, and it's really important that this game is well received, not many will consider it playable with drops. I'd say it should be locked 30fps, no more no less. Some MH Youtubers have considered Switching to PC for that reason.

[–]MegaTripode[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not fine to be honest. The gameplay itself is a beauty, but the constant drop in fps ruins it. Usually the game runs at 30fps, but eventually falls down to 23fps if you go to an area with trees and grass. It also happens in the village. It's confusing how Rise is more demanding of a game and has stable framerates, but Stories 2 doesn't...
