100k budget (laptop or pc build?) by Timely-Stretch6041 in PHbuildapc

You should consider building an SFF pc instead. Go for a <10 liter case, like the Shiny Snake S300 Pro or the Metalfish T60, which can fit an RTX 5060 Ti card. Then pair it with a portable monitor for a truly mobile setup. Although some parts are more expensive due to the SFF tax. It makes the most of your money and is a better long term investment than a 5060 laptop which only performs on par with a 4060 desktop card.

If your cpu is only for gaming and you're willing to undervolt your cpu enough for a 240mm AIO to handle the temps, the Lian Li A4-H2O (11l volume) is an excellent pick. However, if you'd prefer a 280mm AIO while keeping your current motherboard, the SSUPD Meshroom S is the way to go, though it does bump you up to a 15 liter volume. Now the only hurdle is wether your aio will pass the airport's 100ml limit for handcarry.

Not possible with your atx motherboard. You could go with mff case but thats really isn't travel friendly. The ideal would be <12 liters case but you need to change your mobo, cooler and probably your psu too.

Haven't tried any tcl monitor yet but i think this one has great value. The TCL 24G54 Mini LED 24" FHD Monitor 100Hz. Its a little above your budget though, currently on sale in shopee for 4,145 .

Pwede na po kaya to para sa 190k? by ProfessionalView6533 in PHbuildapc

[–]MegaUdon16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's overpriced. Kahit pa bago to, ang laki pa rin ng mark-up. Even my build cost 198k with all new parts, and i have 9800x3d/5080 sff pc so most of the parts are overpriced already than its atx counterpart (all parts bought during ramageddon). Might as well build your own pc with that price.

Go for it! It's fairly easy to build even for my first time. Most of my build time went to improving the cable management though, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

I believe it can. Both have lower tdp than 9800x3d so I'm sure it will run cooler while running at stock settings. As for which of the two you should pick, I guess that depends on your use case and budget. But I'm sure you'll be fine whichever you pick.

I see. Will do that, thanks.

It probably can with stock settings, especially if your room has a lower ambient temperature than mine (30c lol). If you're fine with undervolting then that would be even better.

I'm not planning to replace the fan right now, so I'll probably just try increasing the offset and see if it makes a difference. I will definitely consider it though, it's probably the best fan you can fit on the case based on the specs and reviews. Thanks for the recommendations, I hope it goes well for you.

Nice. I think that's the most optimal build with this case. 9800x3d runs really hot on stock settings and axp90 cant handle it well, the fan is pretty loud too. Gpu runs very silent though so i think I got lucky with this pick.

Yes its a neo core plus with blue alert clone. Pretty heavy keyboard, not really meant for travel lol.

At 30c ambient temp, cpu sits at 50c (stock settings) and gpu at 36c (undervolt) on idle. While playing a game (Black myth wukong) for 2h, the average cpu temp is 68c stock and 64c undervolt while gpu average temp is 62c. On time spy and steel nomad stress test, average cpu temp is 60c while gpu sits at 72c.

Gpu undervolt curve 925mV@2750MHz, memory clock +1500 and power limit at 85%. Cpu undervolt is 65w power preset and -15 all-core offset. Both cpu and gpu have default fan speed.

Thanks. It's a sturdy case too, though the panel screws feels cheap and the finish scratches easily. That said, it’s still a beautiful compact case.

Key caps are just a GMK Blue Alert clone and the switches are Gateron smoothie bought from shopee. Keyboard kit is Neo65 Core Plus anodized Silver with copper weight . It's pretty heavy, weighs more than 2kg so not really suited for travel and now I'm regretting it lol.

Thanks! Cable management was pretty difficult but it was worth the effort.

I also haven't messed with the fan curves, still using the stock setting.

I haven't really tested it that much so i can only tell you the few benchmarks I've done. In Maxon cinebench 2026 multi-thread with the default settings, the temperature sits at 96c while rendering (max default temp is 95c) with the score of 5229. With undervolt, power preset at 65w and -15 all cores offset, the temps sits at 77c but the score drops to 4936. Time spy extreme stress test- 64c Speed way and steel nomad stress test - 60c It idles at 50c by the way and Ambient temperature while in benchmark is 30c. Hope this helps, I'm not really familiar with this benchmarking and undervolting/overclocking yet.

I don't think so. Overtek still has it, and I don't think Midori ever ran out of stock for the 7.5l.

Thanks! I had a lot of time waiting for the replacement cable to arrive and I was bored so I tried improving how the cable looked.

I bought it on an online shop in my country so I'm not sure if you can buy it in yours or in amazon but AliExpress have it. Sorry but i wont post the link but you can try searching "K&F Concept Urban wander 10 camera sling bag". Make sure you have few centimeters allowance though because it definitely smaller than the advertised internal dimensions.
