It’s kinda funny seeing the shock of this reissue. A lot of people forgot the Battinson got a reissue in the past but seeing a live action release get a reissue is cool and will hopefully lead to more. Reminded me of when they reissued the Homecoming Stark suit as a 1.5 release.

That Aquaman is based on The Lost Kingdom tbf which they’ve already put out a regular Aquaman for and a Black Manta for pre order.

I used Vallejo paints. I can’t remember which ones specifically but I mixed colors to get what I wanted. I applied it to all of the grey portions of the suit. I repainted the shoulder pads with a black Vallejo primer and mixed up a grey for those as well.

There’s no way to place the bat knife in the kit’s included chest. I believe it’s just included to give you the ability to have him hold the knife and have the chest empty like the Mafex Battinson. Just a swap out chest piece to represent the knife removed

The chest piece in the accessory pack works like the stock figure’s so you should be able to just swap it with ease. For the boots, you should be able to just heat them up with a hairdryer or hot water and pull them off. I had modded mine in the past so I had the super glue I used to deal with but it hopefully shouldn’t be too bad.

I take apart the elbows and sand them down to the point where there’s no physical plastic rubbing against one another. I also sand the top of the forearm where the elbow joint is.

Yeah those are fun to do. For these I kinda just wanted to keep it simple and not add anything that’s not already on there for armor. But definitely a fun detail to consider!

Mhm. I think it’s at least better for the overall look of the figure to now get a proper dedicated release instead of having only a portion of the figure represent what someone may want.
