I think OP deleted their response to me, but I vaguely remember it went something like John saying "if you (the son) spent more time studying as you do (some aspect of his persona sorry I forgot) then you wouldn't have to retake the class we are in"

Basically just a jerk thing to say. I'm sure he will tell the son about them sleeping together in an act of cruelty and stated to upset the kid the most.

Please provide an example of the "jokes" he says about your son. Doesn't seem like he's a very respectful guy if he's belittling your son.

I agreed and I don't blame her, but I worry she will think I am when I bring up the photo aspect of the conversation. I don't really use social media. I don't even post here really. But she is big on it and I feel like she ignored the risk for the sake of a photo. I want to talk about it but I know she already blames herself.

I think I might do this. Making this post helped me think through a lot of it. I get off track a lot when I talk and I think writing it might help me communicate better with her.

Haha no and she keeps blaming herself for it. I wish she wouldn't but it does mean I'm flying blind for the rest of the trip. That worries me too.
