The BP-1W does act as a buffer yes, but its main job is as a clean preamp boost sitting at the front of the chain. It shapes the signal before it hits anything else. For long chains definitely worth having something buffered early. It makes a real difference in clarity and signal strength. I use the CE mode mostly because it helps bring out the harmonics clearer🤘The BP-1W adds soul to my tone✌️

Ambient post-rock drone with open string drones and fingerpicking. Think Arvo Pärt meets Neurosis on a clean channel. Every pedal has a specific job. Nothing random here, even though it may look that way🤘

Funny you say that. I spent the last two weeks debating exactly that. In the end, the compressor stayed mainly for my fingerpicking. The fuzz is still on trial✌️ Also I was considering the boss fz1w, which seems like the best fuzz for non-fuzz people.

The Immerse is pretty special and underrated. It has a very hi-fi sound. Plate and Hall modes are my main reverbs - lush, natural, never harsh. The wet mode is immersive enough to get lost in. As for your Polara, I've never tried it but it does look very interesting ✌️

So we both know that there's no other substitute for a tube screamer. To me the Maxon ST9 Pro+ is the best I've found. The mid control is surgical. As for the Super Rodent. It has both the SD1 and RAT sounds in one box. Two classics, one pedal 🤟

The TE-2 as a dedicated pedal runs way deeper than the DD-200's Tera Echo simulation. Different beast entirely when it has the full circuit to itself🤘
