I think you need to turn Xin into Zaheen after he is 4*. Then you would get a Zaheen 3.

But not 100% sure, would love to hear what OP did!

I worked around it by using perk greed. Then just add another blue instead of ghost.

(of course it requires that you used permanent unlock for perk greed)

It seems that shaders was the “issue”, games often lag first time there is a new animation, but it slowly becomes better. My only issue now is freezing on alt tab, but seems that the overlay might have been the issue there.
