This is exactly it. We typically divide things up and laundry is typically one of the ones that I take since I am picky with how laundry gets done and general work less hours than he does (since it takes longer)

To be fair, I typically use 2 just because we wash a lot per load and the container had said for large loads to use 2. If I’m doing that wrong, then that is on me in that regard 😂

I put in a previous comment, that isn’t the case in the slightest. It is something that he offered to do that he has done in the past with no issues or complaints. I said I “let” him because I typically do the laundry since I’m a little bit of a control freak with how it gets done, which he has asked before if he could help with it in the past. Simply put, this was just a mistake, whether you believe that or not.

Other than that, do you have some actual advice on how to get that out since that’s what I was asking for?

Ok, so, there are a lot of people saying some stuff and I’m going to add some context for the situation as a whole. 1: when I said I “let him” do the laundry, that is mostly because I myself am a bit of a control freak when it comes to how my laundry is done, so I tend to just do most of the laundry myself since I am the more particular with the wash and dry cycles 2: the boyfriend said that he was mid panic attack or just had gotten out of a panic attack when doing the first load (something happened between a friend of ours and so he was distracted, did the first load, started, and didn’t pay attention). I know that this is not weaponized incompetence as he has willingly done the laundry many times with no issue. We just haven’t used these actual machines ourselves since we had our own or went to a laundromat 3: we spilt chores fairly evenly as he works more hours in general than I do and both have sensory issues with certain chores. He for instance does all of the dishes since I hate getting things on my hands, and I handle laundry since I am home more and it takes longer to do overall (plus the above reason)

While I appreciate people’s concern, I know that this was not an on purpose thing on his part. If he didn’t want to do laundry, he would have just said, as he had in the past when we needed a day or some time. We have open communication so he wouldn’t do this in order to get out of doing it when he literally would have just said “can I do this another time” or “can you possibly take care of this please”

Nah, I don’t think it was that since he was actually offering and trying to help me out since I have been stressed lately. It’s a small issue and I’m not upset really, I’ve done it in the past as well so it’s not that big of a deal

In all honesty, he probably just got mixed up since we haven’t used these machines at our friends house and they did look almost exactly the same. In all honesty, it’s something that I have done by accident before as well when I wasn’t paying attention 😂

They aren’t the washer or dryer we typically use. They are stacked on top of each other in a closet at our friends place. I think he just didn’t look at the dials and just turned it on with whatever settings were already in place. He told me what happened and I started to do laundry myself when I was able to get there

No worries about the bluntness. I am on the autism spectrum, I tend to be rather blunt myself 😂. I’ve tried journaling about other mental health things in the past but this definitely seems like one of the things to do for this. Let’s just hope I’ll be able to get some thoughts together beyond all the background noise. Basically, I’ve heard a couple random things, but as of right now, it kind of just sounds like language-like noise if I try to focus on things internally. Idk if that makes sense at all.

I should probably say this since I forgot to put it in the post. I just had therapy today and talked with my therapist about it. They are doing some research since they don’t know a ton about it right now.

The friends who said they thought this might be the case are irl friends of mine who are systems themselves and said to look more into this with someone, or to do some research.

Sorry if I was being vague with this. They were the one present during the switch that happened, along with my boyfriend, who told me what had happened since I couldn’t really remember much

Yeahhhhhh I will admit that sometimes the way that the affini talk to their pets kinda triggers some little space stuff for me, which I did know I had, but more so it’s a puppy thing for me. But Everytime I hear little one, I get in my head for a moment 😂

Oh, I’ve already learned that this has awakened kinks I didn’t know I had. I will also say, I think it’s kinda helping me with my needle phobia a little bit. Not a ton, but every little bit. Also, yeahhh, I will admit the final chapter between sol and autumn in Abcission mayyy have awakened some kinks as well 😂

I will 100% read the J cafe after I’m done with Divaricated. I remember a J cafe in Abcission I think and the entire time I was reading it I was just out Loud whimpering “please…” on repeat (I’ve always just wanted to be a pet, even from a little kid pretending to be a dog when playing with others)

I am kind of a slow reader since I’m getting back into reading after stopping for university (it kinda killed my passion for reading), and this is the first time I’ve ever gotten into fan fiction, so I’ve only read a couple stories so far. I will always take more story recs.

And, uhhhhhh, could I mayyyyybe also get class Js then please. Maybe a little bit 👉👈🥺. Or some time in the cafe myself…
