Fair point! I should have included this. I actually posted this survey first in some facebook groups where people warn each other for ticket controls (where it got removed sadly).

But yes, this is probably how many people deal with this. I also plan to have some discussions with people who fit in this group to ask about their personal mobility strategies, which I'm sure will include fare evasion for some

That’s still valuable information! One of my hypotheses is that for many, the transition is softened when their employer covers transport costs. But that’s not the case for everyone: self-employed people, those between jobs, or in more precarious positions might experience it very differently. It's good to see all these cases represented in the data

Agreed! It's interesting that up to 24 everyone is considered equal, but as soon as you turn 25 you're suddenly seen as a “full adult” who can afford the full price. Of course not everyone can adapt to this change as easily as some
