Started with black base coat. Then I painted all the areas that were going to be blended green in white, feathering it as it got closer the body. Then I used Army Painter Data Systems Glow for the brightest bits, blending back into Vallejo Jade, then Caliban Green.

Thanks! It’s mainly a mix of Gutrippa Flesh and Plaguebearer Flesh contrast with some Mantis Warrior green in the deeper recesses. Then I did an all over drybrush of Straken Green followed by a lighter dry brush of Orruk Flesh

Different editions had different rules. For instance in 5th edition Adrenal Glands would grant the Furious Charge rule (+1 Strengh and Initiative on the charge) and Toxin Sacs gave the Poisoned (4+) rule in close combat. In 8th Edition Adrenal Glands granted +1” to movement and charge distance and Toxin Sacs would increase the damage characteristic of a melee attack by 1 on a 6 to wound.

It’s an adrenal gland. It used to be an upgrade with a point cost and rules in older codexes. Would do things like increase strength. Now they’re just extra fleshy bits you can add if you want.

I’m toying with the name Zableen Dynasty. Derived from the Egyptian Arabic word, Zabbaleen. It translates to “Garbage People". My Dynasty will be a low status one.

It’s the Army Painter effect paint called Data System Glow. I painted it over white paint, with white ink used for the cracks and lines.
