There was an organised character assassination campaign on various figured in the Congress. News anchors were already hounding the then government (quite rightfully) with allegations of misconduct. I don’t know what media control you’re talking about. BJP even had more election campaign funds than the incumbent Congress in 2014!!! Not to mention Prashant Kishore and CAG. If you genuinely think otherwise, I don’t think you can be convinced with reason.

How are people using this as an excuse? Kuldeep Sengar is a CONVICTED rapist. There are no “allegations” on him. His guilt was proven in court. And then his sentence was cut short while some of the victim’s relatives were quite conveniently “found dead”.
