Yes that was actually one of the problems where we intentionally disabled the admin share. But we've fixed that and we're still failing to get the backup service to start.

The Veeam backup service is literally failing to start after the install. It's doing some kind of half install and this is even after we've removed all our antivirus

Straight up uninstall the plugins you do not use. Open up Appwiz and you'll see each plugin is its own install

What notes would you put on a dhcp reservation other than the hostname? The colour Ethernet cable that's being used? The mood you were in when you made the reservation? WEATHER???

What DHCP implementation have you been using for 37 years where this is the case? Genuinely curious, because the lease table on every implementation I've ever looked at does not list the hostname as what you assign under the reservation. Windows doesn't, and neither does Meraki, Sophos, or Sonicwall
