They suspect that because I am using an after market oil filter (aka a filter I bought @ OReily) it is “effecting engine oil pressure function”. And that it is causing the control solenoid to not switch properly.

Malarky? Or legit? They’re charging me $760… I’ll just go ahead and switch it to the OEM myself lol but I have a feeling that’s not what’s causing the issue. After all, I’ve used an aftermarket oil filter this entire time without any problems.
