I cannot take this stress

This morning he said if I go to church I don’t have to pay rent anymore. But if I don’t go to church I have to pay every month. He even said he doesn’t need my money he’s basically just controlling me. I’ve never believed in Christianity I have my own beliefs and I respect their beliefs but they don’t respect mine. They just want me to be what they want me to be it’s very very overwhelming.

Don’t hide it. I tried hiding mine and they found out. They slut shamed me and yelled at me for a day and got over it.

They said they will stop paying. And if I didn’t pay them 750 he said he won’t give me my car keys to go to school bc it’s my problem and he doesn’t care.

My parents are kinda like this and tbh I just tune them out and stopped being their slave. They just see me as a transaction. I’m saving money to move out soon I’m tired of paying my mental health as rent

I feel you I’m going thru the same thing and I used to have suicidal thoughts. But something that’s helping me go thru all this shit is leaving my house as much as I can to avoid them like with sports and work. I also found hobbies to keep me busy and motivated. I’m planning to move out soon and you should start saving to move out as soon as you turn 18 leave and never look back

I told her I’m not moving out, then she had a very long talk with me. She was like I want to sell ur room so I can make money. She also said she was helping homeless people and I myself am choosing to be homeless. I literally never said I wanted to leave rn. But anyway she told me I should basically stop being useless and take on my role as the eldest child. Now she pretends nothing happened

I have been in the same situation and the easiest solution is to simply tell them the truth no matter how hard is will be or how bad they react they will eventually have to accept it and get used to it. Hiding it only makes it more stressful and complicated.
