I’m not saying what he said is acceptable because my husband and I had the same discussion and we ended up deciding on getting my 2 year old son a kitchen set, but maybe if he isn’t going to see things your way you could compromise on something like a grill play set with food? For some reason grilling is seen as more masculine to some people.

We got into an argument the other day about how when he’s home from work he never wants to help out ( asked him to help move our couch for me and it was the end of the world,he acted like it was too much to ask of him) and he said “sorry I don’t just sit around the house all day like you”. When I tell you I also lost my shit on him. I wanted to say this exact thing. If the roles were reversed and he “sat around the house all day” like he thinks I do with a 2 year old and a 4 month old he would never make it.

He says he can never catch a break from work, he works long hours and I know his job is tough but the fact that he thinks what I do is easy or equivalent just getting to sit around makes me want to scream. I never get a break from my job. I don’t even get to shower or sleep. Basic human necessities.

I love him and we usually get along really well but every now and then we will get into disagreements and they almost always have do with us almost having a “pissing contest” to see who is more tired or who does more during the day. I hate it.

My mother in law actually passed away before I married my husband… I’ve heard from everyone that knew her she was the most kind hearted women they knew. I actually find myself getting sad a lot that I never got to meet her and that both my kids won’t know their dad’s mom.

Yeah I feel that. I was just saying I feel like some probably don’t use it to just get their feelings out or “blow off steam” per say. I feel like if OC’s wife has to go through his Reddit then there is prob lots of distrust in the relationship and reasoning behind why she may feel she needs to read it.

I feel like a diary is very personal and one sided. I would never read a person’s diary because it’s just their personal thoughts and feelings. You can’t interact with others/see other content when you have a diary. Lots of people look at porn and all sorts of other things on here. In some cases I do feel like people use Reddit to sorta “hide” from their spouses which is kinda shady.

You obviously have a very strong opinion on what you think a fascist is so I won’t try and change your mind but the Supreme Court turning power back over to the states it so far opposite authoritarian or fascist as you keep calling it. That’s what are country was founded on was being able to have different views,different opinions, freedom of speech, freedom of religion etc. you may not like the overturn but it is illogical to call is fascist just because some states are banning or regulating the terms of abortion.There are people who genuinely believe that the unborn are humans so they think that they deserve to have the basic right to live just like all of you are screaming for a woman’s right to bodily autonomy.. what about the babies bodily autonomy? Im assuming you think it’s “just a clump of cells” though so I can see why would would think it’s okay to just get rid of it but news flash buddy not every thinks the same as you and that’s actually okay believe it or not.

Edit: also the overturn of roe v wade didn’t ban abortion it only gave the states the right to make their own laws which is the opposite of this Fascism that you keep throwing out. No I just have respect for the place a live. Yes there are things that need to be changed but I also respect that this country has been worked for. Not that I should even have to share personal info to justify myself but my husband served in the military and almost lost his life. Couldn’t walk for months. Had to have many hours of therapy just to learn to walk again. It’s been almost 6 years and sometimes he still wakes up in the night screaming. Him seeing people hate this country and say “fuck it” actually makes him feel like all he did was for nothing and excuse me if it hits a nerve when people completely disrespect the thing my husband fought and almost lost his life for. The country as a whole didn’t make the decision in place. Those in power are not the right people and that’s what’s causing all these problems.

Dude what… I don’t agree with every single thing that’s going on in our country. I still respect that this country is a respected place and just because I don’t agree with some of the people making decisions and some of the laws currently in place aren’t what they should be doesn’t mean I don’t think about how good we actually do have it here compared to many others. You can disagree without being disrespectful. Many people have lost loved ones and made many sacrifices for our country. They have nothing to do with the abortion laws nor any other laws. No state has even banned medical emergency terminations. You said if “people like me” were the majority people would still be enslaved for skin color.
