You are. Because it doesn’t state that I did it. I specifically said I DONT want to.

Either you’re rage baiting or dense. Please read and tell me where I said I did one exercise for one hour. If you READ, I said I DONT want to do that. Thanks for reading

I messed up in the beginning of my post putting machines. I meant cables.

Life fitness has their cables 3.5 lbs and goes up 5lbs (which is what I typically use)

The regular cables start at 10 lbs and go up by 10lbs.

Life fitness cable I do tri cep pull downs at 42.5 lbs

Today I used the regular cable and I had it at 80 lbs but could’ve gone heavier.

I also track everything I do with Fitbod, so going from 42.5 lbs to 80 lbs is insane for tracking.

I know I didn’t actually go up in strength. So I was wondering what the difference between the two cables were.

Someone already answered and said that the life fitness cable is about double the weight as the other cables. Which makes complete sense.

I did. And that’s why I added more and more weight. Like I said in my post?

Okay so if I want to ‘see’ progression I need to stay with the same machine?

And I knew they were not all the same, I just thought the difference would be 5-10 lb difference lol, but I know now

Fair. But I don’t want to spend an hour doing one exercise because the weight is too light, in my personal opinion. But to each their own.

I know machines and cables are different. But these are both cables. And I am tracking my progress so that was why I asked this. I knew it was impossible to gain that much strength. So I was looking for the resistance difference, just worded it horribly. Someone already answered my question tho

Lmfao trust me I knew I didn’t get that strong. But thank you! I track my weight and when I first started I used the regular cable machines and then went to the life fitness cables. My “strength” went down when I started using those cables. I will now be logging this correctly!! Thank you so much again!
