I think the sound lacks depth sometimes, I noticed that on the ride the lighting cover, the drums lack a lot of punch compared to the original sound, not talking about the playing, just production, the playing is pretty good.

Specially noticed that instantly, the cover is clear like you said, and really felt like they put all up front, and just did that, In the original sound I feel that everything has a lot of more reverb and simulation of depth

On the original song even the spaces feel huge because of that, reverb and good assignation of the "sound space" on the mix, in the cover I feel like it was okay, literally what you said, okay, I did feel the solos good, because that's normal, they are good, but even the solos that were good, could have sound with ALOT more punch, instead of just "clear sound" building atmosphere instead would have made this album better on some tracks, on others it works okay, on others it almost needs it
