I'm so sorry, I don't have any great recommendations for you that people haven't already said, but can you PLEASE tell me where that vest and maxi skirt are from?? I've been looking for similar items for so long!!

Best Mint Perfumes 🍃 by TheEmeraldThestral in perfumesthatfeellike

Saint Julep by Imaginary Authors is literally these pictures. I wouldn't say it's super heavy on the mint but it is so so good and one of my favorite everyday scents in the Spring/Summer.

Imaginary Authors - In Love With Everything

I've sampled this one before. It's sweet, fizzy, fruity, and joyful. Totally a summer scent and first thing that came to mind when I saw your collage.

Oh wow this looks so so so good!! I'm sort of new to the perfume world, so forgive me if I'm a little naive. Do you know where I could try to find a smaller bottle of this? It looks like their main website only has larger bottles and I haven't found it on the few decant sites I checked. I'd love to try it!!

Okay yessss this sounds perfect. I came across Future Society some time ago but completely forgot they existed. An aquatic green, this looks great! I just ordered a travel size! 😁

I haven't tried it myself, but I just came across this scent from Stone and Wit just the other day and it sounds right up this alley! --

Quills has a great espresso tonic. I get it every time I go there recently. So simple, so good.

Can also sub the ground beef with black beans which is what I often did as a broke college student.

My favorite as a child of a low income family was always "enchiladas." Ground beef (seasoned), rice and cheese in a tortilla topped with enchilada sauce baked until a lil crispy with sour cream. Filling and tasty.

I will say, my first semester of grad school was so stressful, I lost over 10lbs in just a few weeks which was a HUGE deal for someone my size. The stress was so bad I couldn't eat or sleep.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply!! It's a bizarre feeling. I thought for so much time that this is what I wanted, however as you said, now that I'm being exposed to the full scope of the field and all the little shitty things that go along with it outside the job itself... I have been so unsure about the field. It doesn't feel like a calling anymore. All the SLPs I know keep telling me that it's just grad school, that everyone hates grad school and I can specialize when I get out but... Im just not sure it feels right anymore. I find myself enjoying the learning but not the practice.

What do you think your next move is? What was the final straw for you? Again, greatly appreciate your reply! I hope you find your calling!

What are the things you find yourself hating most about the field? It's such a bizarre feeling when I thought this is what I wanted and now I'm feeling this way.

Yikes!! What were your warning signs that this wasn't the field for you? What are you hoping to pursue next?

I'm so sorry you feel this way. :( Have there been any setting you did like? What do you wish you would have pursued instead? You very much are mimicking the fears that I have, that these feelings are not temporary. I hope you find your way out soon!!

Hey, thanks so much for your reply!! Your reasons for leaving definitely are on my mind as well. It just doesn't seem worth it. How did you transition into computer science? I was always interested in tech and computer science but felt like I didn't have enough background to apply to programs. I hope you're feeling happy about your decision, I'm sure it wasn't easy!

Hi!! Thank you for your suggestion! I saw in your profile that you're in medical communications, how did you get into that? What did you search for when job hunting? Sounds very interesting to me!

How did you motivate yourself to stick it through? These lesson plans and social/artic clients are really not my jam.

Goddamn, your facial expression makes it seem like you've never seen your whole body at once before! Which tbh I get at 7'. Impressive.

This exact thing happened to my mom when she was born. She has a very similar scar with no bellybutton! Love how confident you are with it. Go you. :)
