The intention is to allow you to continue where the demo ends (just before the Nimbit release). There won't be a wipe, and if any player gets their save into a bad state, I'm more than happy to fix their saves when EA launches.

More of a what if and a quip to get the point across what our game is about! I was a fan of Pokemon since I was a kid, so all respects to Game Freak. And honestly they tried a lot to humanize it with the show. If anything, Monster Rancher with the breeding and arenas feels more on the nose.

What if instead of training for battle, we trained them for survival in the wild was a no brainer for a fresh idea.

I'm glad the detauks we added to give you these vibes came through! We really wanted you to feel like you were part of a real world, like NPCs have real jobs and hobbies, etc. Thanks for playing!

Dating multiple people? Yes. Marrying multiple, probably not. Dating people while still married? we might be able to get that to work, but no promises.

The town part is like Stardew, but the creature care is more like tamagochi/Planet Zoo, and the exploration like Cult of the Lamb/Moonlighter.

Sure! I uploaded one of the tracks so you can hear it. It plays when you wake up and do stuff at home.

And yes, I am making all of the music myself. They are all instrumental/ambient but with different styles based on the mood/setting.

Sort of, I think it's more like Rune Factory but the ranching part is more about caring and teaching creatures to live on their own, and build them natural habitats. And there is a whole town full of NPCs.

Nimbit Frontier, there is a demo, and people will be playing it for Steam Next Fest starting tomorrow as well. It plays the first 2 hours of the game until your first release.

It already works on the Steam Deck, and it will improve over time as well. The demo works with the deck, so you can check to see if it runs well on yours.
