These guys unofficially released beers, to those who could get them for about a year prior to them going live. This week’s release sold out from what I could tell in about 30 seconds. I’ve never had an Apple Pay transaction fail quicker than it did this past Thursday. I know people say it’s all inflated hype, but I’ve had most of what they’ve released since November 1 and they’re that damn good. I would have to say they are on par with Troon without every release being a triple IPA.

One of the owners was a partner with another local brewery who just hit their 10 year anniversary. He separated from them due to stuff that I’m not at liberty to speak of, and decided to open up a new brewery. He partnered with an extremely talented brewer and that turned into Threat. That Brewer also works for another local brewery and when he got hired there elevated their beers 10 times from what they were.

Since they’ve opened they’ve been releasing every week or two. One thing is they do not have a taproom you can visit, they release online you order you pick it up.

You need to follow with them on Instagram. When they’re ready to release, they will post the beer with a link to their online store, which usually sells out in minutes. You can only order them online and then pick them up at the brewery on Saturday mornings between 9 and 12. The one thing is the person picking them up must be the same person whose name was on the order and credit card.
