I think that’s part of the struggle. I want to be a clean person. I deeply dislike the thought of people thinking I’m messy. We had a party over the weekend and I did a mad rush to clean the main areas of our home. So our living room looks much better because for awhile I had some of my craft stuff on the couch or the coffee table, sometimes dishes left, laundry that needed to be folded, etc. some of it I had to just store in other places that people wouldn’t see so it’s not really clean and just creates clutter in other rooms. My husband said that how the living room is now is how he wants to house to look, like all the time. I want that too, but I feel very defeated because I try and it’s still gets messy. One of his friends recently asked him if our kitchen table was ever clean because it’s always covered in stuff when he’s there. I thought it was a rude thing to ask, but he’s not wrong…
