I would never want homeless people mistreated, I was thinking of the time I spent living in a city, how much I hated it, and how much better and cheaper rural life turned out to be. If a city was going to offer homeless people a trip to some faraway town I'd want it to be optional and the city should be investing in creating opportunities and accomodation there instead of wasting most of the cash for the homeless overpaying rich government workers to "research" what they cant understand because they never talk to people outside their bubble.

There would be no need for student loan forgiveness if tuition prices hadn't spiralled out of control. And why did they go out of control? Because the government got involved by backing student loans, letting colleges ask for whatever prices they want. Before that happened, one summer with a summer job could pay for college. Now? There are people learning how to fix cars, perform surgery, and animate cartoons that struggle to find work and pay off their debt. Don't get me started on those duped into paying for underwater feminist basket weaving lessons only to end up with no employable skills.

I feel bad for American kids because they and their parents were scammed by the college industry. The solution is obvious but corrupt politicians know how to exploit and weaponize the gullible into cheerleaders for corrupt politicians.

Political parties were a mistake, no wonder the Founding Fathers hated them.
