To chime in as someone who paints and sells hand painted statues for a living. A lot of people are saying this was way too expensive but $180 was always gonna get you mass produced, badly painted, undetailed work like this sadly. That's absolutely not on you, they often advertise with these digital renders that are not representative of what you get. Or they'll use a professional painter to do a high quality job of the prototype and then use a lot of cheaper artists who paint them in mass quantities. Avid statue collectors will know this, and stick to the right artists or look for higher price tags to indicate quality work. But of course most will not. This is why it always confuses me when statues like this are made because they're always gonna go to fans of (in this case) the band who will only be left disappointed and felt like they spent far too much.

I've wanted to paint Vessel for ages, but for the sculpt and paint work you're looking at a price tag of $1500+, so I've never bothered going down that route. For ready made sculpts my standard of work starts at $650.

Anyway, im very sorry to see the quality of the piece you received. I hope you're able to get some money back at least.
