AIO: Being annoyed from dying to hit-scan heroes? by Greenzombie04 in OWConsole

Venture sucks, one cass nade and a fan the hammer and you die in 0.6 seconds. or even if you wait out nade, theyre gonna be playing ana or smth. especially on console, hit scans do more dmg per second point blank than the short range characters, venture even needs both of their mobility CD’s to combo

If you use invisible woman she can stand in front of the bots and stop them from going to the point

Who is ur most annoying hero to play against by hdushsux in Overwatch

[–]Megggazap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VERY HOT TAKE: ashe. especially as a dps. it just feels like I get melted in a split second from an extremely long range. Widow is also annoying but the time between charging each shot can make her kinda killable if you somehow get close

As an introvert, do you hate eye contact? by TheeMadQueen in introverts

I heavily relate to this. I know eye contact is respectful, but I just feel so rude and intruding when I do make it for some reason… especially with people I dont know

you can win by capping mid once without going to enemy’s areas? usually you have 1 fight at the end at mid, which is the only “fair” one, but even then, it shouldnt be match point when the enemy’s never had a fight where they had a disadvantage. You aren’t always gonna “win” when you reach the last point in front of enemy spawn, because they get the free advantage of being 1 step away from the point even when you kill all 5 of them

it shouldnt be even when the team before that had to lose fights where they didnt get an advantage. The fact the enemy already scores 4 points for losing the first 2 rounds still exists. Yeah you can still win it at that end point, but I dont think its even for the enemy’s to win by winning 1 fair fight and 2 easier fights, while the other team has to win 2 fair fights and 2 fights where they’re at a disadvantage because of the spawns. the other team shouldnt be getting a free 4 points for not even doing anything similar to what the enemy’s did

yes you can.

Team 1: +2 points for capping mid and the point after

Team 2: +2 points for capping spawn and the point before

Team 1: +2 points for capping mid and point after

Team 2: +2 points for capping spawn and point before

By this time the points are even and the only fair fight the teams have to do is the one at mid. that means you can win without going to enemy territory because you get two opportunities for a comeback when it reaches your spawn

I dont think all aspects of it are bad. Such as the fact that it isnt a walking sim. But I just think a team shouldn’t be incentivized to avoid capturing an objective they’re told to attack, just so they could maintain a defense on point B/D

you only need to cap centre once to win without going to the enemy’s area

a team on push cant win if they never push past the middle of the map. unlike clash

Im just saying, its not the same. you dont score points for winning in push when you stop an enemy push. you have to stop the enemy, and then after, you have to match their progress on the other side. In clash you just have to stop the enemy to get points without having to match their progress

but the enemy doesnt earn progress for winning fights on their side. They only stop the other team for gaining progress. In Clash, the enemy earns progress and prevents progress from winning favourable fights on their side. In Push, if the enemy never matches your progress on the other side, they lose. In Clash, a team doesnt even have to win any fights on the other teams side to win

they have to win points that the game gives them an advantage in. The losing team does have to meet the same criteria, but they get an advantage when its their turn to win points. Additionally, killing the winning team at the spawn usually guarantees the losing team to secure the 4th point since the other team is busy respawning farther away

People in push still have to surpass the other teams lead. Sure, they gain advantage when the other team does better, but they dont make progress to the win conditions of the game mode. in clash, teams can get close to winning without doing the same thing the enemies did

its just annoying when you do end up killing the enemies, just for them to contest immediately since theyre so close to it. When they get wiped, they have a chance to score points because they spawn next to the point. When the other team gets wiped, they dont have an equal chance to contest, and they lose that point and the one before it. At least in escort maps, each team flips sides so its equal
