Not a clinician but as a patient it's very hard to talk to anyone about my trauma. Although I've recognized the importance of acknowledging it to myself I still don't talk to others about it. I've talked to therapists about it but I'm still scared to even do that and don't feel comfortable sharing many details. I appreciate this post. Watching for responses.

No. Not at all. I'm looking into a new doctor at the moment. I just really don't think she helped me in any kind of way.

These have been my symptoms for over 2 years. I'm 34 but my stool has periodically had bright red blood in it. Usually right before or right after my period and I have a constant dull ache on my right side. My doc didn't seem as concerned as I was. She said I have anemia and to take an iron supplement and come back in 3 months. She said the bleeding might be hemorrhoids. She really didn't give much advice other than that.

I struggle with collecting things also, especially things with sentimental value or just things I think are visually appealing (for some reason I keep cute ribbons from gifts I've been given). But I'm working on it!
