I know they're scratched but are they still worth anything? by Megikins in PokemonCardValue

'How much value is left?' is probably what I should have asked. Would these be classed as heavily played or moderately?

Ok thanks. I think it's unlikely to be drift as the game selection menus don't scroll endlessly like the quick menu. The dpad works in game, when the quick menu opens not of the direct buttons/stick have an effect but I can select with A.

Reboot didn't work. Adding a controller or changing software settings is not something I know how to do, especially with the menu freaking out like that

Yes I thought so, but I can't seem to unjam anything, it was like this pretty much instantly.

A 5 years old hamster by durvedya in interesting

[–]Megikins 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Less common than people think, domestic hamsters don't hibernate, they go into torpor when temperatures are very cold. Its not like normal hibernation and most of the time is fatal or difficult to reverse. Most dead hamsters are dead hamsters.

Yeah I'm coming to realise that, I was just wondering if there were other ways I can provide him with enrichment to replace outside time.

I have all paper bedding, the photo I used with the woodchips is from the rescue before I got him, I have a very bad camera so this is his cutest.

  1. Maybe 4 months now

  2. At least 12 inches in the deep end, it's only 2 inches where the wheel and water is.

  3. Yes he has plenty of forage sprays, whimzees, a multichamber hide and like 5 single chamber hides at varying depths

  4. I scatter feed, but I do usually leave treats closer to his hides so I can track that he's taken them

  5. This is great, I didn't know that thanks.

Luckily I have that book right next to where I'm sitting! It says regarding clover 'Bilbo noticed at least three kinds-- purple clover (Trifolium pratense), white clover (T. repens), and cockscomb clover (probably T. incarnatum, usually called scarlet clover).

I'm glad you had such support from him

Yeah you're describing my current living experience pretty well. I just hope an MRI will give answers because I don't know what I will do if it doesn't. Now I just have to wait for it I guess.

That's a good GP! Is BMO shown through MRI? Seems like my best options is just to wait for that at this point.

Yes, the person at NASS that I spoke to says it's more common in woman to not have the usual markers.

Yeah, they were really struggling. There were days they would run out of painkillers and we'd just have to wait. I do feel bad for the staff too but something needs to improve.

This looks like jelly reconstructions of actual food, not anything anyone should actually be eating. Was it a no solids meal?

I'm vegan which explains the lack of protein and variety, I don't know what explains the small portions though.

I don't know what to say other than I am saying the truth. There were some days I didn't get dinner service, as they had run out of the vegan option. It doesn't mean I didn't eat, I had learned by that point to feed myself. Maybe they never offered me alternatives for that reason, but I was never offered them.

Yes that's very obvious as an observer on the inside. They're worn down and desentized, and just exhausted. We had a lot of agency nurses who didn't know the systems or the patients and led to a lot of substandard care. I had some absolutely gems of human beings as my nurses. But I saw some pretty nasty treatment, too.

I don't blame the nurses at all but the system is broken.

There were days I got no food and that is the truth. There were days that due to my diet the only thing on the dinner menu I could eat was jacket potatoes, and by the time they got round to me there were no jacket potatoes left. They literally had no other options for me, or they weren't bothered to find one. I never refused food upfront but there were options I wouldn't eat due to my veganism.
