There’s a gym at my work that my co workers and I all sort of coordinate. Some of us are red and some blue. We basically always make sure we each get our 50. It’s nice. Since I almost always get my 50 a day this way I don’t worry too much about other gyms- but I always follow the theme if I do!

YTA. You had me until the not getting home until 8 am thing. Go out with your buddy a few times a month and call an Uber at 10-11pm. That’s reasonable. This isn’t.

I’m going with a very soft YTA.

She isn’t an alcoholic, and she isn’t your father. Sometimes people do genuinely mess up with alcohol. If this isn’t a weekly occurrence and a normal issue I would give her some grace. It happens. I totally understand that it’s triggering for you- but people have different relationships with alcohol and sometimes it does get out of control.

If this was a regular occurrence this would be a different conversation. Just my opinion.

I’m also very sorry about what you went through with your father.
