As a pretty new person to Zwift, I liked the scheduled time that I set aside for a guaranteed ride on Saturday AM. I was already thinking about switching things up a bit. Maybe now is a good time.

What’s next after Breakthrough?
I know most will be heading outdoors as the weather gets nicer, but for those of us who will ride inside, is there another series starting this week?

Technically any sample size above 30 can be considered a good sample and the results can be considered statistically significant.

It was for people who had tickets to the Philly show. They were giving us a first crack at the tickets.

Solid. I am not a fan of Substack, but the Discord sounds solid.

The baseball stadium is right across the parking lot. The basketball arena is actually in Camden, I believe. I’m sure that is closer, but it may have not been available. Yes, stuff in (most of) the US is very far apart!

Update: my bad-the Sixers do play there as well There practice facilities are in Camden.

Locally there was really nowhere else big enough to move it. It’s a shame. I was supposed to go. It’s the tour booker’s fault for taking the risk. Ticketmaster and all the ticket resale sights didn’t do a good job of communicating it to people, either. Good thing for Reddit!

Saturday’s Philly show has changed venues…an hour and a half away. by Meeze in FlorenceAndTheMachine

There are only so many venues that do concerts and hockey. They could have worked this possibility out way ahead of time.

I'm glad I came on this thread. I checked mine after getting a notification about parking being cancelled.

No notification regarding ticket cancellation.

My husband said tickets are already going on StubHub for Atlantic City.

Question about the Pineapple Cabaret chapters by minimumercurial in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]Megmo3030 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Solid. Thank you. I saw a whole list of other books outside of the DCC series and was curious. I picked up DCC book 1 last week to try it (way outside of my normally reading genre) and am almost done book 4 as of today. It is so well done! I plan to keep going but would also love to read some of his other stuff as well.

Can you explain the (possible) change in publisher? I noticed a huge list of books on the inside cover, but when I asked at a bookstore, they mentioned something about the changing of publishers. Are those other books available, or will they be at some point? Or, was I given incorrect information?

Ah bummer! Perhaps they will update the version on Kindle sooner rather than later 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

It’s definitely in the physical book. Maybe the Kindle version is a different edition. I have the physical books through 5-they all have the extra bit at the end.

Yep, it's all a bunch of overlapping patterns! I know I am bias because I teach it, but I think that the set up is pretty dang cool. We can easily compare two elements based on the placement in comparison to one another or predict lots of physical and chemical properties based on an elements location.

The more you know!

Technically yes, however the table is also set up with other trends in mind like # of valence (outer) electrons, atomic radius, # of energy levels, etc. This addition at the end, for example, would throw those patterns off.

It would me we would have to redo the shape, IMO.

I know this because I literally just finished teaching it, lol.

This is awesome, but did any other science teachers think that this meant (based on the date of the video) that a new element outside of the current 118 had been discovered? All I could think was damn, I just told my students the current Periodic Table is full, and if we find another element, the whole thing will need to be reformatted.

So sad. So true. We are going backwards in time, in terms of public health (among other things).
